Shops of French cosmetics chain L’Occitane, which has changed its name to L’Occitane, have reopened in Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
The company’s technical support service told RIA Novosti that all the shops have already opened. They stressed that the assortment remains the same, new products will continue to hit the shelves and all the discount cards and gift vouchers received before the closure remain valid. The change of the name is due to the fact that L’Occitan is now a separate legal entity, the company concluded.
The RIA Novosti correspondent visited L’Occitan shops in the Evropeisky and Aviapark shopping centres. The prices remained the same.
Earlier, at the end of May, the chain’s shops started to change signboards for similar ones, but in Russian.
In mid-April, the company decided to close all shops and online shops in Russia and suspend plans for investment and expansion in the country because of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
